Thought this was quite neat at first but now I think that tree is not quite right

I don't know what to say about that, but I love those colors.

And it has to be said, that is 1,000s of times better than their previous album.

The fronds are totally lifelike, but I'm not sure a trunk that thin would support them (or maybe it would...there about so many different kinds of palms).

^ exactly what was bugging me! They've gone too close to the edge of the trunk with their axis of reflection.

Perhaps they weren't going for verisimilitude here.

Maybe it's some kind of English palm tree we don't know yet.

been on 2 diff comput0rz for this thread and the tree album is looking radically different color-wise on this public computer. i mostly blame kids fucking w/ the settings but from what i remember when i saw it earlier the tree wasn't "set" during night-time

As far as "new records by people who've been making records for close to 40 years" go, that's actually not as c0rny as it could've been. Generally, people who peaked in the 70s and 80s do not understand the photoshops, though.
