A friend just told me to check out this Italian ska band called Pitura Freska and I smiled.

bought this jabberwocky cd a few years back thinking i was getting something else (the u.s. jabberwocky) but it turned out to be a gypsy ska punk band from italy. quite good actually in a bregovic/no smoking orchestra kinda way, horn vamps aplenty and all that jazz
