Hey -- that is a great comparison, the Interpol guy's voice with the My Dad is Dead guy's voice. I never thought of that. Yeah, MDID is way better.

not only the voice, but a lot of the instruments and their timbre + the arrangements are very similar. Lots of reverb and whatnot, too.
