wow, that's a really long ride tho.

this guy's great summary of icarus (scroll way down) makes me wonder if i really wanna do it, the huge drop on soft pea gravel at 100% grade sounds not that fun.

don't hate, celebrate!

didnt get started on la sal loop until 4:30 pm, finished in the dark. this ride is superrad going counterclockwise. i will post a couple of pics later, if they worked out. the overlook of castle valley- mindblowing. 64.5 mi, 4 hr 5 min, 5300 ft vert, one section of 10-12% for ~2.5 miles. lordy.

i just found this, holy shit. someday i will do this ride. i think i would do the stuff up boulder canyon first, esp magnolia (4.7mi at 10.7% max 21%).
