What instrument is being played by the guy sitting to the right of the keyboard player? Looks like he's doing some mixer feedback but then there's something else further down that I can't make out.

he's mostly using an old record player and a piece of aluminium foil through a mixer and some effects. so as soon as everyone else starts playing in such a small setting it's basically a noisy microphone...

funnily, my record got reviewed in a few places locally. my favorite line from the denver av club: "It’s not all great, but there are definitely a few gems in the rough in the mix." Bring on the faint praise! Also, I was referred to as "the professorial rocker," so .... win?

haha, nice! "the professorial rocker" is a pretty awesome compliment in my book (although maybe less so if you're under 30? would still be totally thrilled to be called that, though!)

I mis-read that as "the professional rocker".

i am over 30 and i have a coat with elbow patches, so i guess it fits. i am not a professional rocker in any sense of the word "professional."

Actually, that was kind of helpful in dating when I made them, cause I know they're from before I had a cell phone so I must have been like 17.
