Was going to start a thread if one didn’t already exist and here it is via roxy

Any other books to recommend on this subject? A reading of the initial chapters of W.K. Stratton’s book on The Wild Bunch piqued my interest in this a bit; he discusses Walon Green’s time spent in Mexico talking with veterans of the war, which led to him incorporating some elements into the film (the idea of which came from a stuntman named Roy Sickner). Ten percent of the population of Mexico died during this war!
