kind of

it's not that it's bad as much as it is... well, that album is not why I like MBM

Storm The Studio is the most aggressive / revolutionary & the one that made the deepest impression on me
99% is not as 100% as the former but it's more polished, flows more smoothly as an album -- remarkably out there and incredibly distinct sound
Satyricon kicks the speed for pot, trippier & mellower interludes, less noise more dub, more variety, singing gets more melodic which opens up the music for some listeners while leaving others behind, really well done pop album
Subliminal Sandwich is where the vocabulary of traditional dub music overwhelms the noise innovation -- sprawling 2 CD album, first disc with the 'songs', second disc with the immersive instrumentals. expertly done if not as much my thing, though 'Electric People' on disc 2 = as good as any of it
Actual Sounds And Voices tries to pull together the diversity of the previous one into a single flowing album, not pushing it forward but bringing it together

Storm The Studio LP / mp3 edition - has 'Strap Down Part 3', left off the CD
Armed Audio Warfare = compilation of pre-Storm The Studio tracks, even noisier, all over the place but good
NOW 5" CD single - fantastic dub remixes from 99%
Original Fire - odd and ends compilation released right after Subliminal, has Storm The Studio outtake "I Got The Fear Part 5"

Albums since then are completely quality works but not as distinctive as the first two which I still listen to, people are still catching up to what he did on those two

well, the saturday line up is rather f*cking fantastic.
sometimes i hate the uk festival scene as we would never ever get such brilliant all in one place.

I stand by Actual Sounds + Voices being the best album... so far, it's the peak of the ultra dense, spacey, and floor-shaking elements done best.

just done my first headphone listen to this with my new cans, and damn was it special.

Where to start? I would say by watching Emergency Broadcast Network videos on Youtube. Jack Dangers produced all their music, if I recall correctly.

I'm starting to think Subliminal Sandwich is their most underrated album but that's mostly because I'm listening to "Nuclear Bomb"

I agree! 99% and Satyricon are all-time for me, but I find myself pulling Subliminal Sandwich more often.
