The BBFC has rejected the sexually violent, and potentially obscene DVD, The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) This means that it cannot be legally supplied anywhere in the UK. The decision was taken by the Director, David Cooke and the Presidential Team of Sir Quentin Thomas, Alison Hastings and Gerard Lemos.

The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) is a sequel to the film The Human Centipede (First Sequence), which was classified ‘18’ uncut for cinema and DVD release by the BBFC in 2010. The first film dealt with a mad doctor who sews together three kidnapped people in order to produce the ‘human centipede’of the title. Although the concept of the film was undoubtedly tasteless and disgusting it was a relatively traditional and conventional horror film and the Board concluded that it was not in breach of our Guidelines at ‘18’. This new work, The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence), tells the story of a man who becomes sexually obsessed with a DVD recording of the first film and who imagines putting the ‘centipede’ idea into practice. Unlike the first film, the sequel presents graphic images of sexual violence, forced defecation, and mutilation, and the viewer is invited to witness events from the perspective of the protagonist. Whereas in the first film the ‘centipede’ idea is presented as a revolting medical experiment, with the focus on whether the victims will be able to escape, this sequel presents the ‘centipede’ idea as the object of the protagonist’s depraved sexual fantasy.

I mean I'm hardly the sort to call for the banning of something I've never seen but I'm having trouble just reconciling the description of this

censor more things, we tried the censor-nothing approach and it got us Human Centipede

saw the first, loved the opening act (just for dieter laser as dr. heiter), but hated the rest.

no interest in the sequel.

In all seriousness I gotta wonder how this script got pitched to the actors involved. "Yeah so for the better part of the film your mouth is going to be 'surgically attached' to Leslie's anus (don't worry we'll put a pad there or something) and Jim's mouth will be attached to your anus. Great concept, right? Obv you won't have a lot of dialogue for that part of the movie."

i don't really wanna watch this but now i'm not allowed to watch it i sort of wanna watch it. also the first one wasn't all that but if we can't have horror flicks setting reprehensible new lows in bad taste and nihilism every now and then then what's the point?

The principal focus of The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) is the sexual arousal of the central character at both the idea and the spectacle of the total degradation, humiliation, mutilation, torture, and murder of his naked victims. Examples of this include a scene early in the film in which he masturbates whilst he watches a DVD of the original Human Centipede film, with sandpaper wrapped around his penis, and a sequence later in the film in which he becomes aroused at the sight of the members of the ‘centipede’ being forced to defecate into one another’s mouths, culminating in sight of the man wrapping barbed wire around his penis and raping the woman at the rear of the ‘centipede’.

Yeah he wants publicity by getting it banned all over the place, that much is clear. Why else would he soak investors' money into something that's so comprehensively in breach of p much every classification office everywhere?

anyone who thinks that THIS is too much should read the synopsis of "A Serbian Film"

that said this is definitely the SECOND most depraved film I can think of, and yes I strangely want to see it

part of me wonders if this was the plan all along? the first one was not really a bad movie, but it's not really shocking or anything past the original concept, even kind of boring, and I felt like Six had more talent than what he displayed in the movie. right from the start he was saying things like "wait till you see the sequel"

off the top of my head I would say salo and sweet movie are two I know but I don't know how they compare to serbian film

yeah that is precisely why I mostly avoid modern horror movies; I thought the plot synopsis of Audition was too far, and this shit stampedes WAAAAAY past that line

all the people I know who went and saw serbian film are huge passolini fans
