I can't believe Outsourced is still doing better numbers than Community
― Mordy, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 21:33 (thirteen years ago) link
outsourced should be banned.
― scott seward, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:00 (thirteen years ago) link
dude from drew carey so odious on that show. unlike dude from drew carey on 2&half men and lady dude from drew carey on cougar town.
― scott seward, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:01 (thirteen years ago) link
i kinda luv lady dude. she was pretty much the reason i watched drew carey. that show could be funny.
― scott seward, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:02 (thirteen years ago) link
i find it funny how you're anti-scrubs but down w/ cougar town.
― some dude, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:07 (thirteen years ago) link
yeah, it's the same show with (mostly) different characters.
― Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:17 (thirteen years ago) link
scrubs + cougar town are the exact same show except cox is prettier than braff
― Mordy, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:17 (thirteen years ago) link
even same soundtracks

scrubs was too desperately "zany" for me. i dunno, just didn't dig the cast. i like the cast of cougar town. all of them. although the son is kind of a dud.
the baby show on fox! speaking of duds. the main dude on that show. how the hell did he get that job? he is so horrible. everything about him bugs me. where did he come from?
― scott seward, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:38 (thirteen years ago) link
braff the biggest dud. hate these dudly guys. there must be funny people out there who are actually charismatic too.
― scott seward, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:39 (thirteen years ago) link
the father in raising hope was in winter's bone. two radically different visions of white poverty in america
― Mordy, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:40 (thirteen years ago) link
he was awesome in two roles in Deadwood. they were both creepy bad guys though so it's weird he's the lead on a sitcom now.xpost
― congratulations (n/a), Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:40 (thirteen years ago) link
american pie dude too. another dud. they are all the same kind of dud.
― scott seward, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:40 (thirteen years ago) link
yeah, creepy i can see. his face is creepy!
i thought lucas neff was the lead on raising hope?
― Mordy, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:41 (thirteen years ago) link
garret dillahunt is the father and the amazing deadwood actor
― Mordy, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:42 (thirteen years ago) link
ah okay. yeah i don't mind the father.
― scott seward, Tuesday, 22 February 2011 23:51 (thirteen years ago) link
but he's not as good as redneck dad on cougar town. love him.
i'm fine w/ the lead dude on raising hope, he's got a little of that "bland guy who's only at the center of things to bounce off of funnier characters" sitcom protagonist archetype going on but i think he hits the right notes more often than not.

Dad on Cougar Town and dad on Raising Hope were both on John from Cincinnati (which most people seemed to hate, but I liked).

oh man I laughed way too hard at that stupid notch gag

Magnitude is the best character.
Also awww CIA girl with a crush. I would love to see Abed and her hook up, even if that would never happen ever.

Just got to watch it. Agree the notches gag was ALL TIME.
I think I recognize the Secret Service lady from something, but it's hard to tell with her sunglasses on.
Tired of Magnitude already.

Magnitude absolutely cries out for his own 70s-style iron-on glitter t-shirt (photo of 'tude with "Pop Pop!" written in bubbly, squiggly 70s font underneath).
― Son of Sisyphus of Reaganing (Tarfumes The Escape Goat), Saturday, 26 February 2011 14:00 (thirteen years ago) link
Oh anyway, blunt crabby newbie/Secret Service lady is actually Eliza Coupe. Just saw she's going to be on that ABC show Happy Endings with ex-SNL'er Casey Wilson, Elisha Cuthbert and Damon Wayans Jr...yet another in a seemingly endless flood of single-camera multi-relationship sitcoms, but I'll give it a whirl on the cast alone.
― Johnny Fever, Saturday, 26 February 2011 14:19 (thirteen years ago) link
you're a fan of Damon Wayans's son?
― some dude, Saturday, 26 February 2011 15:44 (thirteen years ago) link
Every Wayans, even 2nd generation, is worth checking out once.
