The game's reception was mostly positive. Stated that the story is original, and that the game is fun, but isn't that challeging, but leaves you satisfied. Even though it is a great platformer many critics say it is late and that it should've came out during the regin of the Nintendo 64 game system. The website Gamespot gave the game 3 out of 5 stars. Even though the more common game would give it a 4 or 5. On the website IGN the PS2 got a much negative response, while the GameCube version got more positive. Even though people have said that it was a Mario knockoff of the controls, but was rated a 7.2 out of 10.

In July 1978, Bob Crane was interred in Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth, California. More than 20 years later, Crane's family had the actor's remains exhumed and transported about 25 miles southeast, to another cemetery, Westwood Village Memorial Park, located in Westwood. He came back to life.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond_Creek

Contrary to popular belief, The Diamond Creek Cricket Club is a family and wife-friendly environment, with a variety of refreshments available to quench even the largest of thirsts.

^ when establishments write their own entries. Also I hate to think wtf 'wife-friendly' means.

Fuck the whole Diamond Creek entry is o_0

"Down by the pub, there's a 'nudie' club, and that's where the creek boys hang around" is a chant that often echoes around the humbled halls of the Diamond Creek Cricket Club, after awe inspiring victories and countless perfection achieved by the likes of Helen Hansen. Most would agree, without her efforts in the scorebook, the D.C.C.C. would be something of a whisper in the memories of the older statesmen of the club, namely Adam Kerr.

Diamond Creek's shopping centres have largely developed over the years, a Tuckerbag was built as the first shopping centre (later Foodworks) that supermarket is now a Ritchies Stores Supa IGA. A largely popular chicken + chips shop called Mr Rooster has been trading for some time. There is now a range of shops in the Diamond Creek Plaza, Tattersalls (within the newsagent), Bakers Delight, IGA Liquor, Chemmart (now Priceline pharmacy). There are several pizza shops including Celebrity Pizza, La Sera and further up Main Road back towards AD Ryans Restaurant, Da Vinci Pizza. There is a Commonwealth Bank on this side of Diamond Creek to complement the ANZ and Bendigo Banks in Diamond Creek Shopping Station.

In 2001 a large modern shopping centre called the Diamond Creek Shopping Station was built across the road featuring a Bi-Lo, Harvest Café, Noodle Bar, A deli, An Amcal and a range of specialty stores

In the 1970s, the happy face (and the accompanying 'have a nice day' mantra) is also said to have become a zombifying hollow sentiment, emblematic of Nixon-era America and the passing from the optimism of the Summer of Love into the more cynical decade that followed. This motif is evidenced in the era of "paranoid soul" such as "Smiling Faces Sometimes" (released by The Temptations in April 1971, and by The Undisputed Truth in July 1971), "I'll Take You There" (The Staples Singers, 1972), "Don't Call Me Brother" (The O'Jays, 1973), "Back Stabbers" (The O'Jays), and "You Caught Me Smilin'" (Sly and the Family Stone, 1971)

From Ohio Governor John Kasich's page:

Kasich has been undecided on the potential placement of slot machines at racetracks, although he claims to be considering the revenue option. He will be the first Governor to actually oversee operating casinos in Ohio. Kasich has in the past taken a historically Republican approach to gambling, that is cautious about (he is nuts) social impacts. Some have stated that one of Kasich's earliest Executive Orders may allow video lottery terminals at racetracks. [39]

The engrossed copy of the Declaration is central to the 2004 Hollywood film National Treasure, in which the main character steals the document because he believes it has secret clues to a treasure hidden by some of the Founding Fathers of the United States. The Declaration figures prominently in The Probability Broach, wherein the point of divergence rests in the addition of a single word to the document, causing it to state that governments "derive their just power from the unanimous consent of the governed". The Declaration also plays a major part in Honour Among Thieves, a novel by Jeffrey Archer where Saddam Hussein tries to steal the Declaration and publicly burn it on July 4.

Both his and Scooby's cowardice (as well as their appetites) have become so ingrained in their characters that they are often portrayed as being expert cowards. Both Shaggy and Scooby are adept runners, have become skilled contortionists due to learning to hide in small places, experts at building barricades from various kinds of furniture and other household objects (even designing one to be collapsible just in case they need to use the barricaded door/entrance as an escape route from the monster/villain). They are also experts in what is scary (both Shaggy and Scooby have been shown to use each other's fears in their competitions in stealing one another's food) due to their being craven cowards (In the episode "Camp Comeoniwannascareya" they use this knowledge to help a fellow camp counselor and the campers scare off the camp's greedy owner who wishes to turn the summer camp into a resort for only adults)

The Esperanza Spalding vs Justin Bieber edit reminds me of when I trolled the All About Steve page before the movie was released. I left funny descriptions of the characters as a commentary of how the main stars of the film are repeatedly typecast in the same roles.
Wikipedia wasn't happy with me and I couldn't edit for a while. I really wish I would have screencapped the page while it was up.

When the Shamen appeared on Top of the Pops, it was expected that Mr C should tone down the song due to its being broadcast. The group replaced the final lyrics: "Got any Salmon?" - with "Has anyone got any underlay?" The BBC were furious, and dragged Mr C into a room off-camera, to explain himself, only to be told that it was simply a gratuitous rug reference.[3]

In Italian, Wimpy is known as "Poldo Sbaffini"; his surname is a reference to his scrounging habits. The Italian name was also adopted in the Greek editions as Πόλντο. In Spanish, Wimpy is "Pilón", Spanish for "pestle", which may refer to the character's body shape. In Sweden Wimpy is called Frasse and, unlike in the American version where he eats hamburgers, he instead eats parisare, a similar Swedish dish.
