I've been DJing TJ stuff recently and "Did I Mention I Like to Dance" always kills it, definitely not a good headphone song but it's definitely one of the best. Of course "Smang It" is the most requested, for whatever reason "Sex Syrup" is too

a girl I know who isn't on ILX, who seems to mainly listen to the Arcade Fire and the National, posted a link to Smang It video on Facebook the other day. apparently it made her LOL.

xp - not until I played it a few times first; but I think the word is getting out.

I heard TJ were touring this year, and I'd be interested to see the turnout...looking at the interviews and some of the videos I think a lot of these guys are kinda going "all in" with it..

i dunno where yr djing it but songwriting-wise 'i like to dance' is p derivative dated & generic

doesnt mean its not funny but smang it was awesome because it wasnt just funny but worked as contemporary pop too

i think "i like to dance" is really catchy

it's weird tho cuz it's the first TJ song where the song doesn't try & do any heavy lifting on the humor front

i dunno - "wifey boo" does that too, right? (lean cuisine line excepted)

uhhh derivative dated & generic is generally what kills in nightclubs these days (sadly), but "did i mention..." is pretty good as far as those types of songs go

like "did i mention i like to dance" i think this is an outright good song, but not funny -- kinda weird

whatchyamcallit has always kinda been a weak link tho & i never don't find flynt flossy to be funny

not to mention dudes are desperately trying to re-create the magic of "smang it"

you can tell from the "happy sexgiving behind the scenes" that they're funny guys but i dunno i think they're trying too hard post-smang-it
