Yeah, that was great. I assume it would've been even better for people who know the ins & outs of Dungeons & Dragons.

Best ever. And without wall-to-wall lols. And I know less than shit about D&D.

The love scene montage is one of the best silent gags they've ever done.

nice to see him get to stretch his acting muscles a little more

Great episode. THIS should have been the claymation episode. The episode had a dark and sad undercurrent, especially in the beginning where it seemed like Neil was about to do something pretty drastic (my first thought was suicide). I don't really see how Pierce remains in the group after this, but maybe we can consider it an 'Elseworlds' type episode.

I don't think Pierce has really been "in the group" for awhile, except that I guess they tolerate him hanging around (tho on the same note they tolerate Chang hanging around too and he's pretty psychotic). Harmon seems like a deft enough writer that he's not going to totally dismiss the way Pierce has been acting over the last few episodes and I'd be really shocked if he was just "part of the gang" again without some kind of reconciliation. I've said this before but one of the greatest things about this show is how well developed all the relationships and characters are. Sometimes a character doesn't step forward in any given episode but so much of the show's canon + mythos are built on relationships that make sense and have been developed over numerous episodes. Just thinking about how the Annie/Rich/Jeff thing has been developed through the pottery episode, the annie/jeff episodes, the zombie episodes, all to make that kettle corn episode work in a way that made sense and was true to the characters.

omg Chang's elf was hilarious. Just watching him speak cracked me up every single time

orchestral theme change with re-drawn credits! I can't imagine the man-hours spent for 20 seconds of gag, but good on you, anonymous production people.

From what I remember the funniest parts for me were was when Chang during the intro, Annie's fingers, Britta being Britta, and Pierce at his meanest. Also, Pierce sort of ended up being the nice guy because he ratted out Jeff. Oh, and Troy's comments like "hurrah!" were always good for a laugh.

Troy's second huzzah is especially amazing because he kinda looks sad when he says it

best D&D epi since freaks & geeks

first of all -- GAY

having the cleaner as voiceoverlady was the best punchline

yea i'm glad I didn't watch this at my house or our condo mates woulda been screaming "shut the fuck up" through the walls

this was good, but i don't understand why you guys go so gaga over the hi-concept episodes such as this one, the paintball one... i think that the previous couple, the anti-drug play and the rich one, were much funnier

to me the writing on d&d, paintball gets too labored, like they are tripping over themselves trying to be too clever

This was basically a bottle episode, to offset the elaborate costumes and sets of the drug play episode...

Abed should've had a DM's screen.

Personally it hit hard because of Depression and what it's really like but ya know, was also p funny
