i thought about something like that (when i was crafting the rules). but i have to keep track of all of this, and while i can check back to drafts etc - i cannot see free agent/waiver moves after a few months. i want to keep this as relatively simple as possible for everyone - including me, your beloved commissioner - because once it gets too confusing (or too much work) it stops being as much fun.

i would like to pick up Billingsley right now a la Rule 5 Draft.

Quentin was born in 82 so I think he makes the cut. My math skills are poor to say the least.

Thermo, I'd be happy to be your fact-checkin' cuz if that made things easier, but obv it's your call.

It's pretty easy to see the free agent / waiver moves all the way back to the beginning of the season, fwiw

Go to League > Transactions, and then you can sort by Drops and then subsort by the individual manager's team (for example) it gives you a list of every player one manager put on waivers for the season, which is a pretty quick and painless way of seeing if a player from that team's draft was ever waived. Or you can go through all the drops without subsorting.

ya - that was there during the season, but is it still there? i thought they took that and a bunch of other stuff down. (can't check as i'm at work)

Oh, I didn't realize you were talking about after the season was over. I guess it would be tough to keep track of that stuff between the 2011 and 2012 seasons, although it would be pretty easy for me to make a list of keeper-eligibles at the end of the season.

woot - figured out how to set the keepers - i can finally sleep well tonight!

My keepers are BPosey, CGonzalez, CCrawford, JHamilton, and JVerlander.

i'm seriously jealous of 90% of the other team's picks.

how about we can change our keepers if they aren't on the 40-man roster on opening day? (i.e. they are on 60-day DL or restricted list. or dead.)

err on draft day i mean not opening day

i'm surprised some enterprising small market team hasn't pried loney from the dodgers yet, he's underhit his high line drive rate for 2 seasons now and you can't keep hitting line drives straight at fielders forever

sorry ciderpress - changing even one team's keepers means unlocking the league and doing everything (all the teams etc) all over again. doing all of that on the day of the draft is not a thing i'd like to do!
