'In Da Mud' is on the record, right? I really got into that one. 'Deliverance' and 'Jimmy Mathis' are nearly as good as Kiley's 'Keep It Moving'. I think she's a guest on the record too.

I have high hopes for this, commercially as well as sonically. I'm one of those dudes who thought 'Lovely' was underrated after all.

"Comin' Round" was so good when I heard it in the car I couldn't keep my ass on my seat, I was having trouble driving it was so good. Like, take-control-of-my-body good. I wanna hear this album so bad now.

Liking it a lot so far. I loved the debut too but this one really has the courage of its convictions. Good also that Timbaland didn't feel the need to double track the vocals this time out.

the Daily Telegraph, of all people, made it LP of the week last weekend. Their Saturday review section looks pretty good actually. Better than the bleedin' G******* anyways

'She Tried' is probably the first ever credible rap country ballad.

I love this record! Bubba is a fine rapper and Timba is just way ahead everyone else, including the bleedin' Neptunes. Much love!

EVERYONE Have NONE of you heard the pre-album mixtape for this? It was called New South and it's not the one you can get on iTunes which is some random Greg Street compilation. It's a 19 track affair entirely produced by Timbaland with mostly Bubba but also "the Muddkatz" - Duddy Ken, Attitude, RIcky Rucker, Kiley Dean, Petey Pablo and it's all really damn good. All originals except for 'In the Mudd' which is a remix of In da Club by 50.

"Band Leader" is pretty cool. The first few tracks sounded awfully similar production-wise, but for a pre-album mixtape, what can you expect, I guess.

his percussion/drums still knock harder than anyone else's when he tries tho, as "tell me ya wit it" attests to

awesome farty horns that almost sound like spongy, squishy synths on "tell me about the south"... and operatic background OOHHHOOOOHHHS!

lol @ timbo's "damn how long is this song?" at the BEGINNING of the 3-minute "that's him" and the track's made of these really short three-note guitar licks, stays outta the way of the rapping but they're catchy on their own

this isn't from now - it's from back in the day. right before deliverance came out in 2003.

but if you haven't heard deliverance, you should be rest assured that it's like this but most of the time even better.
