Filmed with a budget of about $12 million, Under the Cherry Moon failed to gain any breakout audience, despite much pre-publicity (including a special MTV premiere in Sheridan, Wyoming). Coincidently, while attending the premiere in Sheridan, minor vandalism was reported on the feature film's vintage car. Police reported the vandalism as minor petty theft, including the extraction of valve stem covers and a priceless gas cap.

Jazz pioneer Miles Davis approached the young producer to help fuse Jazz and Hip-Hop. These sessions would become his last album, 1992's Doo Bop. The project, released posthumously after Davis died during the recording process, leaving the project unfinished, generally garnered reviews.[5]

Rex, sometimes known as Rex the Dinosaur, is a large, green, plastic Tyrannosaurus rex who suffers from anxiety, an inferiority complex ("I just don't think I could take that kind of rejection!") and the concern that he is not scary enough. He also has some excitement when he sees something good. Rex's worst fear (after Sid) is that Andy will get another, scarier dinosaur, but feels better after Buzz gives him a few pointers on how to roar more effectively. He is voiced by Wallace Shawn in the films and by Earl Boen in the Toy Story 2 video game.

In Toy Story, he states that he was manufactured by a subsidiary of Mattel (coincidentally, real-life Rex toys used to be made by Hasbro, but as of 2009 are indeed made by Mattel). He was first introduced when Woody wondered who moved his doodle pad, which turned out to be Rex, who tried to scare Woody with his roar, only not succeeding and thinks he just comes as annoying when he tries. He was really worried that Andy will get another dinosaur for his birthday. When Woody sent the troops to see the presents, Rex accidentally broke the batteries of the speakers when he was wondering what the last present was, which turned out to be Buzz Lightyear. Rex was really fascinated with Buzz's cool features. Buzz even once helped Rex roar. Later when Woody was jealous of Buzz, he accidentally knocked him out the window with RC. Unlike Mr. Potato Head and a few other toys, Rex knew that Woody knocked Buzz out the window by accident, yet he sides against him out of pressure for the other toys. Rex and the toys tried to save Buzz with a barrel of monkeys so Buzz could climb up. With that plan failing, Andy came home and noticed Woody was gone, making Rex unhappy, but he leaves remembering what Woody did to Buzz. When Woody tossed a Christmas light from Sid's house to Andy's house, Rex was surprised to see Woody alive. Woody then got Buzz's arm since Buzz wouldn't go himself, but he shows the toys Buzz's broken arm, which made Rex vomit. For Andy's move, Rex's moving buddy was Potato Head because everyone else was picked. When Woody escaped Sid's house, he goes to the moving truck and gets out RC and pushes him off to save Buzz, making Rex and everyone think he's trying to do the same with Buzz to RC. Rex seemed satisfied when Rocky tossed Woody out of the truck. When everyone noticed Woody was telling the truth all along, Rex felt guilty, and states "Great, now I have guilt!" At the end, Rex gained confidence, saying he could play as the dominant predator if Andy get a leaf eater.

The beginning of Toy Story 2, he is shown playing the "Buzz Lightyear: Attack on Zurg" video game, which terminates with Buzz being destroyed by Emperor Zurg, much to Rex's frustration. He accidentally clicked the remote control, making the Al's Toy Barn commercial come up. Rex was petrified when Woody was kidnapped by the Al of Al's Toy Barn. He accidentally ruins Potato Head's crime scene when they needed a plan to save Woody. He was brave enough to go with Buzz, Hamm, Slinky, and Mr. Potato Head to rescue Woody, thinking his video game experiences have prepared him for real combat. On their mission to rescue Woody, Rex was quickly exhausted, but did not give up. After crossing the streets inside cones, Rex and the toys enter Al's Toy Barn. Rex excitedly finds a "Buzz Lightyear" video game strategy guide, which he carried with him. When Hamm gets a car, Rex shows the strategy guide in front of everyone's eyes, making them hit a gumball machine. With all the spinning, Rex loses his strategy guide. In spite of that he is able to give Buzz (the toys take a "Bonus Belt" Buzz instead) pointers from information he has acquired from the manual. At one point, he parodies a scene from Jurassic Park by chasing after the car that the toys drive in Al's Toy Barn, in which Mr. Potato Head spots his reflection in a rear view mirror. When Bonus Belt Buzz spots the toys, not knowing who they are, Rex tells him he knows how to defeat Zurg, making Buzz #2 join them. They then sneak to Al's office, jumping to his bag. The real Buzz spots Al and the bag, with Rex's tail sticking out, making Buzz immediately go after it. In the elevator, Rex is considered to be the heaviest of Andy's toys when he loses his grip on the new Buzz's utility line and pushes the toys to the bottom, causing the new Buzz's strength to give out. Later, Buzz #2 and the toys use Rex as a battering ram to break into Al's apartment. Rex was very upset to leave Woody when he decided not to go with them. Woody later comes with them, but Al comes with the luggage, along with Woody and the roundup toys inside. When the toys go down the elevator after Al leaves the room with Woody and the Roundup gang, he witnesses the duel between Buzz #2 and an Emperor Zurg action figure. When Zurg is about to finish off Buzz #2, he turns away, not bearing to look anymore, but his tail knocks Zurg down the elevator shaft, making him feel overjoyed about finally defeating Zurg, but this time, for real. He did the navigation in the Pizza Planet delivery truck. At the end when they rescued Woody, Rex happily watched Wheezy sing You've Got a Friend in Me.

In Toy Story 3, he was seen to be especially sad about Andy's lack of attention to the toys, expressing joy when Andy held him for a few moments. He, along with Woody, is still sad about losing his friend (and Woody's girlfriend) Bo Peep as he mentions her early in the film. He is ultimately responsible for saving the toys' lives, when Rex uses his tail to tear out of a garbage bag they were about to be crushed in by a garbage truck. When the toys are donated to Sunnyside daycare, Rex was happy and pointed out Lotso's strawberry-scent smell. He was extremely happy about living in Sunnyside, and was visibly sad when Woody left Sunnyside. After a rough playtime with the toddlers, Rex's tail came off (then quickly put back on) and his hip and foot are covered in yellow paint. Rex comments, "Andy never played with us like that!" He was imprisoned by Lotso and his gang. Rex was really happy when Woody came back to Sunnyside, even hugging him. They decided to break out of Sunnyside. He had to create a fight with Hamm, which made a deluded Buzz come and break them up, with Jessie coming down and trapping him in a container. Just as in Toy Story 2, he is depicted as the heaviest of Andy's toys, as his weight combined with Hamm's was enough to prevent Buzz from escaping. The toy's escaped, but got pulled at the dump. At the garbage dump, Rex was the last to escape the shredder, and barely escaped it by grabbing onto a larger piece of metal than the other toys did to survive. While all of his toy friends and Lotso are riding on a conveyor belt full of shredded trash, Rex thinks that the light in the incinerator is daylight from his further sight, but it's a mistake. They all try to run away from it. He is seen to be the most horrified when Lotso leaves them to die in the incinerator, and is also the most solemn about going down it. However, Rex is saved by the alien toys commandeering a huge claw. The toys are finally given to a girl named Bonnie, and Rex becomes close friends with Trixie the Triceratops, who he plays computer games with and is seen together with often.

In an outtake of Toy Story 2, the toys use him as a battering ram, only for Rex to hurt his head when banged against the locked grate. Rex makes a cameo appearance in an outtake of Monsters, Inc. where he waits at the crosswalk with Mike and Sulley who both are smaller than him and used like the Jurassic Park Tyrannosaurus. Rex is a playable character on the Toy Story Racer Video Game. In the movie WALL-E, Rex is seen in the background inside the truck.

Wow, Dirk Benedict (of "The A*Team"):

In 1975, Benedict was diagnosed with prostate cancer by an Italian psychic to whom he sent Polaroid photos, and was told that the cure would be castration. However, he never sought a diagnosis or treatment from a licensed medical professional. He rented a cottage and chose a life of seclusion and decided to commit to a macrobiotic diet and physical training along with fasting instead of going for the operation. He published a book on his experience called Confessions of a Kamikaze Cowboy to give more public awareness of the other treatment.

The game's reception was mostly positive. Stated that the story is original, and that the game is fun, but isn't that challeging, but leaves you satisfied. Even though it is a great platformer many critics say it is late and that it should've came out during the regin of the Nintendo 64 game system. The website Gamespot gave the game 3 out of 5 stars. Even though the more common game would give it a 4 or 5. On the website IGN the PS2 got a much negative response, while the GameCube version got more positive. Even though people have said that it was a Mario knockoff of the controls, but was rated a 7.2 out of 10.

"Down by the pub, there's a 'nudie' club, and that's where the creek boys hang around" is a chant that often echoes around the humbled halls of the Diamond Creek Cricket Club, after awe inspiring victories and countless perfection achieved by the likes of Helen Hansen. Most would agree, without her efforts in the scorebook, the D.C.C.C. would be something of a whisper in the memories of the older statesmen of the club, namely Adam Kerr.

Diamond Creek's shopping centres have largely developed over the years, a Tuckerbag was built as the first shopping centre (later Foodworks) that supermarket is now a Ritchies Stores Supa IGA. A largely popular chicken + chips shop called Mr Rooster has been trading for some time. There is now a range of shops in the Diamond Creek Plaza, Tattersalls (within the newsagent), Bakers Delight, IGA Liquor, Chemmart (now Priceline pharmacy). There are several pizza shops including Celebrity Pizza, La Sera and further up Main Road back towards AD Ryans Restaurant, Da Vinci Pizza. There is a Commonwealth Bank on this side of Diamond Creek to complement the ANZ and Bendigo Banks in Diamond Creek Shopping Station.

In 2001 a large modern shopping centre called the Diamond Creek Shopping Station was built across the road featuring a Bi-Lo, Harvest Café, Noodle Bar, A deli, An Amcal and a range of specialty stores

In the 1970s, the happy face (and the accompanying 'have a nice day' mantra) is also said to have become a zombifying hollow sentiment, emblematic of Nixon-era America and the passing from the optimism of the Summer of Love into the more cynical decade that followed. This motif is evidenced in the era of "paranoid soul" such as "Smiling Faces Sometimes" (released by The Temptations in April 1971, and by The Undisputed Truth in July 1971), "I'll Take You There" (The Staples Singers, 1972), "Don't Call Me Brother" (The O'Jays, 1973), "Back Stabbers" (The O'Jays), and "You Caught Me Smilin'" (Sly and the Family Stone, 1971)

Kasich has been undecided on the potential placement of slot machines at racetracks, although he claims to be considering the revenue option. He will be the first Governor to actually oversee operating casinos in Ohio. Kasich has in the past taken a historically Republican approach to gambling, that is cautious about (he is nuts) social impacts. Some have stated that one of Kasich's earliest Executive Orders may allow video lottery terminals at racetracks. [39]
