the thing is I DO read the autogoon threads I just hardly ever post in them cuz 90 percent of the time they move much faster than I can keep up with since I'm not d/ling mixtapes all day (I have no idea where you guys even get a fair amount of the stuff you post about). even so I do try to pay attention and yeah there's youtube etc

beyond that I just object to exclusive groups on principle

Shakey Mo: I think that would be a better argument if not for the presence of the general ILM poll in which all generalists are completely free to vote for whatever rap they want? It's valuable to have something reflecting just the opinions of genre specialists, too.
