Gallows are a five-piece discordant hardcore punk band from Watford, UK, just outside of London. Forming from the ashes of Winter in June, Forthesinners and My Dad Joe in early 2005 (and originally going by the handle of Last Fight For The Living Dead), they straight away went about their intention to write infectious, original and exciting hardcore punk music by mixing it with and “the riffery of Mastodon, the off-kilter tempo changes of JR Ewing, the rock n roll swagger of The Bronx and the dischordant noise of Swing Kids then wrap it up, sealed in a sweat and alcohol soaked Union Jack.”

hmmm most of Gallows listeners appear to be teenage girls. Have teenage girls taken over NME like they did with Kerrang? Or are they all just Kerrang readers?

I just counted this: let's say the average Mary J Blige tune is 4 minutes long... If you assume this person has spent 8 hours every single day listening to nothing but Mary J. Blige, it would've still took her over four years to reach that number! So she's gotta be cheating somehow.
