I'm trying to figure out where to post my top 100 or 150 or however many it is albums. (Not gonna start a blog or even an ILM thread just for that purpose, but I want to put it somewhere. Maybe I'll just make it a comment on somebody else's blog, or something.)

Nah, that's not what this thread is for. I'm not a poll! Or even a magazine.

My extended singles list is such a mess I'm not even gonna attempt it. (I.e., the order's all out of whack, and hurts my head whenever I start trying to fix it, and in the past month or two I haven't even been adding new singles I liked. There's just been too many, and callibrating is starting to feel like work. Did manage a good P&J top ten, though.)

Wherever you end up posting it, make sure you let us know, that is one I'll really want to see. I think you should start a thread about the blog you'll start to generate buzz website you've created that will provide links to where we can buy the book you'll publish which will feature the list you've compiled.

i love everything i know from that list (about 20% of it, naturally) and am really thrilled w/ all the youtube links: that's one of my favorite year-end formats, when i can quickly click over and check out the stuff i haven't yet heard

Love deej's choice for number one album. Probably my most listened to rap album from the year, but not hard when theres just so many songs.

JAG (I collated it) but the SOMB list is probably in it's most interesting stage (below 40) and is being counted down right now.

al's list is fun to read but i lol @ how many blurbs they are that are like "i hate this artist & everything involved w/ him, but this was p. good"

lol yeah that probably is a pattern i could stand to avoid more

i think that's how singles lists kind of should be, though, moments where you can divorce yourself from feelings about the artist and just enjoy the song

I'm always surprised by how secretly pleased I am when Neon Trees' "Animal" comes on the radio, and I felt the same way seeing it on al's list.
