somewhat later i do a disastrous version of "islands in the stream" - ATTENTION KARAOKERS: the timing of the chorus IS VERY DIFFICULT. also note that when performing a duet it is never good form to argue on stage over whose part is whose.

finally i achieve some sort of redemption with "your cheatin heart", which goes down to thunderous approbation

other highlights included Member of Famous Rock Band singing "Livin on a Prayer" and Member of Semi-Famous Rock Band doing a duet WITH HIMSELF of "to all the girls i've loved before", actually holding his own nose to achieve willie nelson effect

i did "alison" by elvis costello. i was supposed to do "i touch myself" by the divinyls but some dudes stole my turn so i did "suffragette city" by david bowie instead

winner was the random dude who did "what a fool believes," maintaining his awkward michael mcdonald impression through the entire song without giving up

"Mysterious Ways" is a great karaoke song!

I think I missed Michael McDonald dude! Was I outside smoking?

ATTENTION KARAOKERS: the timing of the chorus IS VERY DIFFICULT. also note that when performing a duet it is never good form to argue on stage over whose part is whose.
