btw, the last Motorpsycho album (Heavy Metal Fruit) is really really good too - hard rock, prog and psychedelia mixed with a healthy dose of spiritual jazz. Sounds pretentious but it is not.
sometimes they could indulge in grateful dead-like noodling, but when they're on they're the best live band in the world (check Roadwork 1). also they are able to write nice little pop tunes.

Once I've finished listening to Vol. 4, I will be listening to this record.

Motorpsycho's Timothy's Monster is like the Rosetta stone of 90's European rock (ok, I doesnt sound very appealing but I mean this in a good sense), while Angels & Daemons At Play and Blissard have plenty of good songs and space jams.

I heard and liked Bushman's Revenge You Lost Me At Hello from 2009, but never heard the new one.

Thanks for the tip on this. Listened to it on the commute this morning--reminded me more of a latter-day Sonny Sharrock record than anything else. I agree the mixing/panning was wierd, at least on headphones the bass seemed way too low.

My vote for best title is 'Too Old to Die Young' btw.

yeah that was kinda "harder-core-than-thou" of me which again is my hilarious involuntary hypocrisy ( i hate harder core than thou - dang ! ). but i didn't dig it & was kinda taken aback by the "prog rapeman" description which the describer says in the very same sentence is totaly inaccurate anyhow. duh! i guess they're kinda like tia carrere in a way ( who i prefer but have still gone off of )

i really like the tia carrera album that came out last year. i've been playing it a bunch. great for earthless fans.
