Does she have a breakout hit in the U.S.? "Lights" is at number 80 in Billboard this weeks but I heard it in the car for the second day in a row.

She's been sorta simmering? I think the fanbase/name recognition is there now and she kinda needs one more track to break out in a big way.

Weird that "Lights" is so high on the charts now. I feel like it was all over the radio this winter/spring but I haven't heard it in months.

The songs alright but I absolutely hate her new haircut/-style. She looks like that one girl from the midwest on each season of America's Next Top Model who gets the old hair and eyebrow dye so that she looks like an albino alien. Just cause you're dating Skrillex doesn't mean you have to be Grimes.

I pay almost no attention to her (why because she booring), but I had no idea about the Skrillex thing.

first three singles from new record Delirium are all really strong. record appears to be nearly a half-half split on co-writes with Greg Kurstin and Max Martin and crew... there are two RedOne and a Disclosure track on the deluxe versions of the album... out next week! This is coming up blind for me and now very excited.

Saw her live once and didn't dig it at all. Don't like any of her singles I've heard so far. When she comes on the radio, my kids and I have a standing agreement to switch the station. Her voice is so static and undynamic. Like listening to someone mutter at you over a programmed beat.

it's mostly 'guns and horses', 'starry eyed', 'under the sheets', 'this love will be your downfall' for me... and they all still sound great to me! i blame skrillex and the market for pushing her in directions i find boring as hell

Yeah, forgot about Lights, that was fine. One I hate the most is the one that just repeats "love you like you do" over and over again.
