^Ciara's been signed up for some modelling contract on the side. Apparently thats code for drop a hundred pounds so you look like the protein drip should be your friend.
At first the Aaliyah comparisons where just based around Ciara because 'they dance and sing' but then Cassie came in and people said she was trying to move in on Aaliyah's sound. Just random blogs and stuff there's a lot of hate from Aaliyah fans who think Cassie is dedicated to trying to rip off Aaliyah in terms of style and looks some are super paranoid and think she even moved to NYC to be like Aaliyah (a stretch to say the least)....

Album has been pushed back to early '09 I hear. Makes sense, Cassie can't really compete with all the big names releasing 4Q '08 like Beyonce, Cici, Keri, etc.

the leaks are good, but 08 has been an excellent year and it's getting even better in the 4Q so....

also on myspace, cassie (cute as ever) says she's really pissed at the people leaking these tracks and that every time one leaks, she goes back in the studio and records a new one. and that as a result, she keeps getting better. but she's still pissed.

It sold like 600,000 and she didn't even have a fraction of her current hype. Also Ciara has 292434 friends.

I mean, the second collection of tracks could be a digital-only deal.

she only sold like 300k in the US, Ciara's last album is 2XP

and there's like no hype for her album anymore since official girl flopped and all of the tracks leaked

'my house' inevitably wormed its way deep into my heart, so fragile. there's a real secret-garden mystique about it which i love, like cassie's some sort of victorian gothic heroine. "this is my castle, babe..."

she has to release all of these songs! they are too good to be lost down the back of the sofa. but saying that she makes a new song every time one leaks is tremendously heartening.
