this is less like a sandwich and more like some cardboard with some chicken thats been fished out of a chicken noodle soup bowl and some greased up dole pineapple slices

hoos this sandwich has negatively impacted my faith in the essential goodness of the cosmos

fyi aeroboot the really top-qual eastern-med import stuff (not by any means necc most expensive) that you get at certain market stalls/electrical supply stores is by several degrees more fragrant/powerful/invigorating than the supermarket extra-virgin biznatch

Hmm - would intrigue me if so. I've certainly had olive oils that are almost spicy in their piercing oliveness, and supermarket oils that are bland as fuck. Perhaps so long as they're unrefined, they'll always have that freshness of flavour - 'garden-variety Spanish olive oil' still suggests good-quality produce

there was a news feature back home when i was younger where they found an italian dude on a tractor and gave him the pepsi challenge between what was being sold in a uk supermarket as evoo and some local stuff, and the dude chugged the latter and spat out the uk store stuff like it was poison. quality investigative journalism.

You do get good oils in supermarkets, but they do tend to be the expensive ones nobody buys except my foodie friend <3
