no i didn't think it was *solely* an annap thing but it seems so much bigger there than in baltimore and there are so many of these burned out 40 year old dudes who can't remember the last thing you said to them, at my job. they are really impossibly stupid and i feel bad for them. also angry.

Oh yeah, definitely then. I mean, PCP in Maryland is probably biggest in Prince George's and Anne Arundel.

two weeks pass...

I certainly remember PCP being a thing when I was growing up in AA Co. in the 70s and 80s -- there were always weird race/class aspects to the patterns of usage, but there are weird race/class things about every god damn thing in AA Co.

Yeah, I grew up in Columbia, where we sort of aspired to a rainbow of diversity.

Method Man says he was on PCP during the filming of his "Bring the Pain" video. He says you can tell cuz his eyes look crazy. Hard to disagree with that.

Annapolis

PCP charges

City police arrested two men Tuesday night and ended up charging one with possession with intent to distribute PCP.

Police were searching for two men following a robbery when an officer spotted two men, one matching a description from the robbery, standing next to a tree on Severn Island Court off Bywater Road.

As officers approached, one walked away, wobbly like, and hid behind a trailer. The other held on to the tree, supporting himself. Officers noticed the distinct odor of PCP.

The second man began to also walk away, then ran. Officers were able to catch him. As they wrestled to handcuff him a vial of liquid fell out of his pocket.

The vial of suspected liquid PCP had bits of tobacco in the bottom indicating cigarettes were soaked in the liquid.

I only ever knew of PCP as the drug that one of the policemen in the Terminator suggested as an explanation for how Arnie could punch through a windscreen.

four years pass...

A handful of people got busted for PCP at the beach at the end of my street around 10 a.m. yesterday morning. I was out walking my dogs with my 5-year-old daughter when we came across the scene. All in their 50s and 60s, from the look of them. There were 5 cop cars when we walked past and fire and ambulance showed up later on. I asked one of the cops what was going on and he just told me "we've got some people here who are a few cards short of a deck." At the time, I just thought he meant they were crazy and maybe drunk, but my wife walked down there later and talked to them and they elaborated that it was PCP.
