ha ha, fantastic, that guy's whole channel is dedicated to beatjacking my January's work. funny that he spliced the three Underworld segments together!

Can't really decide on my favourite member here

one year passes...

I love that picture. Byrn's sad-face is probably the best thing about it but I like Alfie's Tiger Mountain-Eno look (the going bald but fuck it look). Not to mention the actual Underworld members. Interestingly enough John Warwicker still works with UW to this day.

Not sure why I bumped this thread. Oh yeah. I was relistening to my Freur albums and they're both fantastic. Obviously I'm glad they didn't last, but they were really a lot of fun. Any live recordings out there?

I have a tape in my attic of a half hour live set they played on Radio 1 late 84 in anticipation of the second album which never came out here, so you get great versions of "The piano song" and "AOKO" plus classics from the debut too. If I find the tape I'll digitise it and see what I can do.

I was so pleased when Cherry Red reissued their albums, but disappointed they had to fade out a few tracks to fit them both on one cd. Have I mentioned I love Freur? Oh yes, upthread. The twelve inch of "Doot doot" was the first record I ever bought, you know.
