Aubrey Beardsley nod is brilliant, I think.

No way is that better than Cave Explorer.

Man, he's on a streak lately. When the Wishing Well came along a few weeks ago, that was the first one to make me laugh out loud in a while. But this week's blows it out of the water.

1) is definitely The Shortcut Express, that one hits something no other cartoon has ever reached

Also in there are Barb And Rudy, Pyro Billy, The Man With No Penis, Suck Note, Today I Am Going To Fly, Suicide Train, It's My Birthday and of course No Survivors (my 2nd favourite). The other two will take more deliberation.

The old PBF would have had the first three panels of the sex offender as is, but in the last panel it would have had a rear shot of the "Neptune" guy and the boy walking away together with no cops around.

Did anyone else preorder the book?

I did. Yes, the cover artwork is awful, although I'm sure if you eat a dozen pixie sticks it may make more sense. But, it's only 10 dollars, it's 96 pages, and if each page looks like this:

http://www.pbfcomics.com/images/Book-Open.jpg

that means around 180 little strips.

Because it implies God isn't really angry at them rather than being a perv who wants to keep watching them.

That strip is wrong btw, it's basic theological knwoledge that angels are sexless ands therefore don't have any genitals.
