way behidn on this show, but just got the first 3 seasons on DVD. the "Invincible" episode where they all tried out for the Eagles had me laughing my hairy nuts off. <3 this show.

Christmas episode was great, especially the Mac and Charlie bits. It also did flashbacks to childhood better than most shows.

is the invincible episode the one where charlie gets on acid as green man and they shoot the mcpoyle cousin and sweet dee breaks her foot as a dude? <3

OK, maybe I'm wrong and all, but wasn't that xmas ep just a rerun from a previous season? Or is there some mysterious xmas ep I'm not aware of, in which case good for me.

I think it was released on DVD but not shown on TV until this year.

Oh, sweet! I forgot that there was that straight-to-dvd holiday special and had been meaning to go back and watch it, but that's cool that they just decided to air it this year.

catching reruns on a bunch of stuff I missed the first time around - I think the show really started to pick up when DeVito came on, took awhile for the characters to kinda establish themselves

My flatmate got me into this recently, I've ploughed through the first three seasons in about a month. Can't remember the last time I genuinely laughed so much at a TV show. It's at the point when any cast member (particularly Charlie) can crack me up with a facial expression.

i need to get season 5 on dvd. just watched "NIghtman Cometh" episode and was crying tears of laughter, it was such gold.

These dvds have pretty much taken over my Sundays. I'm going backwards - first five, then season four. Probably season three next weekend.

Like most, I'm a sucker for Charlie. It's as close to a guarantee of quality anytime he opens his mouth, really.
