As a non pot smoker, I've always been confused by weed quanitification: an ounce of weed is huge, right? but an ounce of water, or whatever, is almost nothing. Is weed just extremely light?

Why do ilxors from "green" US states fret about weed prices when there are grow tents available from Amazon for $80?
Even with ordinary potting soil, molasses-based tomato fertilizer, an autoflower strain and the blackest of thumbs you should be able to grow at least two ounces of bud within four months, curing time included, in a 32" x 32" tent.

not everyone has the space or time for that , if you rent your landlord might still disallow it , convenience
just like brewing your own beer there is a fair amount of hobbyism involved not everyone that likes to smoke is into making it a hobby.
