So was I (got a vague feeling we've both mentioned this before). It is quite a boring place, and word, though I would be a little intrigued by a band with that moniker. Being from there, and all.

Most of the dullest local band names in my area come from metal/emo bands. They're always called things like Ex1t Avenue, Br0ken Emp1res, F0r De4th And Gl0ry, My P4ssi0n (googleproofed, obv). And there are millions of these.

Yeah, but there's also a really good band from Middlesborough with the same name.

I know there's a band called SHRAG, can't remember who they are though.

Harrison Buttwhistle (NickB), Friday, 29 October 2010 22:49 (thirteen years ago) link

They're from Brighton. And are very very good.

Harrison Buttwhistle (NickB), Friday, 29 October 2010 22:55 (thirteen years ago) link

(They're actually all friends of mine, but I didn't want to say that at first as it might have diminished my reppping for them. They are really great, though. Anyway, that's SHRAG and not SHRUG, so maybe we should let the thread get back to its proper purpose.)
