the last movement of the Jupiter symphony is some of the best music ever.

The second movement of his 23rd piano concert is the most beautiful piece of classical music ever written.

I was thinking of starting a Defend the Indefensible: Fur Elise thread, but instead I will just civilly solicit posters' opinions of that turd.

Doritos Loco Parentis (Hurting 2), Monday, 21 April 2014 21:22 (nine years ago) link

hundreds-swarm-dinkytown (Jon Lewis), Monday, 21 April 2014 21:29 (nine years ago) link

I prefer the Dave Brubeck version.

the other day i found a mix cd i'd made as a high schooler w printed liner notes advertising "mozart's haunting moonlight sonata"

in the really lame laurel canyon documentary that came out this year, tom petty says brian wilson is comparable to mozart. the whole thing is peak ok boomer and peak gen x emptiness via jakob dylan and beck saying extremely boring things with dead gazes.

Way too many notes.

All the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.
