Fear... is better as a madcap spoof kinda dealie, CB4 playing it a little bit more straight-faced. I like 'em both, but: CB4.

Oh yeah, I think Nickalicious would dig Black Hat.

I wonder if Fear is funny if you weren't paying attention to 90s rap. I wouldn't know. But you wouldn't get jokes like Parsely, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme, or Ice's son rapping upside down, etc if you weren't, like, watching Rap City and Video Music Box circa 90-93. I'm not sure kids born after '85 would even know who 'Kriss Kross' is. Maybe I'm wrong.

A movie that somehow gets funnier every time you see it (like all great comedies - Spinal Tap, Half Baked, most of the Christopher Guest films...)
