Plenty of people have uttered it, it's just not received national media coverage before.

There is a certain amount of evidence that could be interpreted in support of his claims. Then again, there's Jimmy Meagre . . .

There once was a dubber
who bowled a slow grubber
at a Kiwi who blocked it, then vanished
"Why didn't your mubber
make use of a rubber"
the kiwis young Trevor admonished ...

That poor dubber Trevor
should never have, never
been chosen to play for Australia
despite his endeavour
he wasn't too clever
at batting or bowling - a failure ...

... but he knew of the bias
(denied by the pious)
for the choosing of dubbers o'er others
crow-eating pariahs
and sandgroping triers
watched the 'Sydney boy' Trev join his brothers

(not up to your standard, I know . . .)

With anger no dimmer
and faces e'er grimmer
they plotted their vengeance for years.
Now this secret tuition
is reaching fruition
and for Aussies 'twill all end in tears.

For the All Blacks, ecstatic
o'er Wobblies' erratic
form in the Rugby arena,
will be taking our Billy -
the prize for the Gilly -
and our trophy shelf's never looked leaner.

From the opening haka
this evening's fracas
will be one way traffic I fear
and waltzing Matildas
as blue as Dutch Tilders
will echo from Hobart to here.
