sooo is this any good? my wife wants to get a subscription. i don't know much about it. it can go through our Roku, I guess, which makes it a bit more appealing than spotify.

I just subscribed to Mog -- already subscribe to Spotify to see which I prefer.
Pro's: Has it has the whole ECM catalog which Spotify doesn't. Also, some bigger artists like Pink Floyd.
Cons: Scrobbling to last.fm is disabled currently.
