I'd didn't realize "Cheapskate" was a US only single! Easily the song I heard the most from Money.

I keep hearing "Going Out" when I'm, erm, out. It's very good.

"Cheapskate" was evidently they're only charting Modern Rock single here too! I figured "Caught By The Fuzz," "Alright" or "Pumping In Your Stereo" might have made the bottom reaches of that top 40 too, but according to Billboard they didn't.

Gotta go with "Richard III." It drives like a motherfucker, and that's where it's at. But "Fuzz" has a special place in my heart for the brilliant Keith Moon-ness of the drumming.

Voted "Moving", but tend to like their album cuts better. The singles tend to be a bit too fast'n'furious, while Supergrass are better when they show their slower and more reflective side, plus add those wonderful vocal harmonies they are capable of when they want to.

I thought "Brecon Beacons" was a single. Would have voted for that one.

I still love the albums that were really good (they hold up), but the S/T and Road to Rouen have just kind of faded from memory. Looking forward to hearing the new one next spring, though.

definitely 'caught by the fuzz' for me. first one i ever heard of theirs too. fun, fast and catchy as all hell

Caught By The Fuzz is the only I really love. I don't own any of their albums but I've got maybe 5 of the singles - CBTF, Mansize Rooster, Lenny, Going Out, Richard III, Sun Hits The Sky, Moving. OK 7 singles.

The first two entire albums are full of hits. I would have voted for the title track on In It For the Money, but it's not on this I guess.

Their debut is overrated, while everything from "Supergrass" onwards is terribly underrated.

Caught By The Fuzz was such a mixtape staple for me in high school that I can't really go with anything else (even though I like In It For The Money more than Coco).

Way too much early stuff up there. Supergrass began in 1999. That's when they became a great sophisticated pop band.

Moving came on shuffle today. I actually do find it to be particularly "moving".

I've always found 'Moving' to be a lovely track. I tend to disagree with many people about Supergrass - I know a lot of people tend to cite "I Should Coco" as their best album, but for me they really didn't get going until "In It For The Money". As fun as "I Should Coco" is, I loved it when they started to branch out and move away from that sound. I'd say that "In It For The Money" and "Road To Rouen" are my two favourite albums by that band. There's a musiciality and a sophistication to their work between 1997-2005 that "I Should Coco" just doesn't have.

One thing that is definitely not mentioned whenever Supergrass are talked about is their musicianship - Mick Quinn's bass playing being definitely an underrated factor.

I wasn't really too keen on "Diamond Hoo Ha" though, it seemed more like a retreat rather than a step forward. I would have personally loved for them to build on the sound of "Road To Rouen"!

They never topped "Moving" imo.

I love the bass playing on "Moving", especially when the second verse comes in.

My gf and I saw them at the Elysee Montmartre many years ago. I had and liked 'In it for the Money' but didn't otherwise know much about the band. My gf saw Gaz and said he had to be in the band for there to be so many girls around him. They were excellent live.

"Moving" is a fantastic song, although there are a lot of songs on that album and the next one that I love just as much. They peaked around the turn of the millennium.

I managed to catch them live on two occasions, once in 1999 (prior to the release of the self-titled album), and again in 2003 (after the release of "Life On Other Planets") and both were great gigs.

Especially the former, where they played stuff like 'Far Away', 'Eon', 'Moving'... basically a lot of the strange tracks from the self-titled record that they didn't really play very much afterwards, including a song that they never recorded in the studio called 'Out Of The Blue' - and thankfully no 'Alright' (which has to be their most irritating and unrepresentative song, in my opinion), although they did reluctantly play it at the second gig I went to.

Moving is like Sun hits the Sky, in that it seems clear (to me) that they both are "two songs, cut and shut together".

Moving works just fine, but I always thought "sun hits the sky" to be a bit clunky a fit.

For me:

In It For The Money > Road To Rouen > Life On Other Planets > Supergrass > I Should Coco > Diamond Hoo Ha.

Yeah, 'Moving' was two different bits of music put together - I think Gaz was responsible for the verses, and Danny was responsible for the choruses... but I've never really got that impression about 'Sun Hits The Sky'.
