I made up a band in 4th grade, and I used to draw pictures of them when I was a kid.

Sidewinder:
Lee Ceago - drums, vocals
Will Davidson - lead guitar
Jason Davidson - bass
Dave Johnson - keyboards (he of course replaced David King, the original rhythm guitarist, and leader of the band)

assuming Spinal Tap doesn't count

what was Justine Bateman's band called in Smithereens?

oh, and the Misfits from the Jem cartoon.

and the band from Trick or Treat. Or was that a solo act? It was a solo act. Man that movie was funny.

Form the above thread:

The Shunned were a fictional band in my city during late seventies punk days. Posters use to appear for their shows that were to be at vague local locations (ex. - "at the Shoe Store"). Many locals believed them to be real for a while, and were intrigued. They even had fictional members (Dick Chocolate, Jet Yellow, Doomy Number).

Georgie Saint and the Sinners.

If anyone remembers seventies australian soap "The Young Doctors" Georgie Saint was the hunky lead singer; looked liek a genetic boss eyed hybrid of leif garret and hulk hogan, think a young Nick Nolte with a lemon juice bleached perm, or a lost member of Razorlight.

If that's not enough then there's always Figrin Da'n and the Modal Nodes from the Mos Eisley Cantina on Tatooine.

The Three Little Bops from Looney Tunes. It was the story of the Three Little Pigs, but in this version they had a jazz band, and instead of wanting to eat them, the big bad wolf wanted to join the band. Unfortunately the wolf was pretty much tone deaf until he managed to kill himself, but "didn't go to heaven, was the other place".

The moral of the story was explained by one of the pigs:

The big, bad wolf, he learned the rules! You gotta get hot to play real cool!

My favouritey band is of course one which I made up- with my cranium!!!!! In the naughty nineties!!!! The beat combo's nomenclature was Vigilante Shipbuilders, and they were as Seventies type might sat, a power trio supergroup: of Missy Elliot (Lead vocals, beats, production), Danny MacNamara from Embrace (Vocals, guitars, and friend of Paul Weller- very important in the 90's!!!!!!), and Danbert Nobacon (Vocals, Political Strategist) from
Chumbawumba!!!!!!!

If they existed, they would have packed out stadiums!!!!!!
