HSA has aparently found almost all of his entire collection of oscillators (and one of his oscilloscopes) in skips outside various research labs and academic facilities. This is a true story!

Oh god. My mom needs to join that board. She is ALWAYS trying to give me things she pulled from a dumpster. She's always like, "Can you BELIEVE they were throwing this out?!" She rents a garage, but there's no room for her car as it's full of other people's crap.

(Granted, she has gotten working tvs, vcrs, and all kinds of other stuff this way)
