That Taiwo goal also. At half time, he was interviewed and asked if he'd done it on purpose or not. He said he'd looked up, seen the gk off his line and tried his luck. Then, the next day he was on a tv show with Souleymane Diawara (OM defender). he was asked the same question, he replied the same thing, but Diawara just laughed and called bullshit... and then Taiwo laughed too and admitted he was trying for a cross but the wind put the ball into the goal!

tbf litmanen was injured a lot of the time at liverpool but even when he was fit houllier just never seemed at all interested in changing the shape of his super pragmatic one-dimensional team to accommodate him iirc
