altered boners (rennavate), Thursday, 23 September 2010 23:35 (thirteen years ago) link

I always say that J Cole has the personality of a stick of celery.

if you can put a ceiling fan in your van (deej), Thursday, 23 September 2010 23:42 (thirteen years ago) link

high efficiency unit (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 23 September 2010 23:43 (thirteen years ago) link

young goldie ep

high efficiency unit (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 23 September 2010 23:43 (thirteen years ago) link

i listened to that once and don't remember a damn thing about it

The Reverend, Friday, 24 September 2010 00:08 (thirteen years ago) link

lessons in love imo - street love has the singles though. and even while (iirc) some of the club bangers on his first one have dated quite badly the good stuff is still better than anything on young goldie.

r|t|c, Friday, 24 September 2010 00:36 (thirteen years ago) link

murder iirc

r|t|c, Friday, 24 September 2010 00:36 (thirteen years ago) link

yeah lessons in love is prob his best album but street love is no slouch, some great album tracks on that one as well (such as "hazel,"), and young goldie EP is definitely a must listen as well.. Lloyd is v. consistent

synth pattern boldness (The Brainwasher), Friday, 24 September 2010 00:51 (thirteen years ago) link

hes a bit melodramatic but

if you can put a ceiling fan in your van (deej), Friday, 24 September 2010 00:57 (thirteen years ago) link

lloyd: the highlights of street love > the young goldie ep > lessons in love > the bits of street love that aren't the highlights

i should go back to street love soon, it's been a while

لوووووووووووووووووووول (lex pretend), Friday, 24 September 2010 08:39 (thirteen years ago) link

i am 100% not posting this to be contentious or like THIS IS THE ALTERNATIVE TO LLOYD BANKS, SHEEPLE or anything.... But I honestly think this new Sage Francis song is a very good use of rapping as a medium, even if it doesn't really sound like a rap song...
