I don't know if this is the place for this gripe, but I hate how every time a Philly batter gets on base (no idea if other local broadcasts also do this), the announcers say, "Chase Utley is safe and secure at second base. Safe and secure. Metlife."

If you were a car dealer in the NY market creating a radio spot for Mets games, why would your script include the phrase "home base"? Maybe let someone who likes baseball read it first?
