The build to this match was really intense and foreshadowed the Bischoff turn quite subtly for pro-wres; WCW seemed pretty good at kinda confidence-tricking that their PPV main events between broken down old guys actually were a really big fuckin deal, until they happened and were clusterfucks like ^^ this and you could hear Schiavone suppressing the urge to cry
