I ordered a pizza from an app a cpl weeks ago. the place was listed w/ $0 delivery fee, however AFTER i submitted the order the delivery fee changed, to $3. so i wrote to support to complain about a 3 dollar fee being tacked on. They write back today, "we see you are asking about a 3 dollar fee added on to your bill, well (you jerkoff), that was the tip yoou left, as a one time courtesy we've refunded it."

so now i have to write another email to faceless delivery customer service thing saying that, no, actually i'm not haggling over a tip i left, WITH screenshots as proof that they are LIARS, just to save face to.. a fucking robot? even though i already got refunded? *sheepish/angry* good times tho, it was a v good pizza

was this app Uber Eats, and did you actually fuck up and leave the tip?

the app was postmates and I --purposefully-- left a tip! they tacked on a different charge after I submitted the order! I sent them screencaps of the delivery fee going from 0 to 3 bucks! I have actual proof of their tomfoolery! And yet, I just got ANOTHER email back from a different person there, also essentially 'yes sirring' me while calling me a liar... the nerve of these people!

I wrote another email basically 'hello, thanks for refunding me but you're wrong!' lmao

I'm not into this thing where the courier takes a picture of you receiving the parcel. Or at least fucking ask first.

Ostensibly an alternative to signing where social distancing is preferred, but the person was inches away from me and holding the terminal anyway
