I didn't even mention "I'll Make Love to You" bcz it does have a memorable chorus despite its (almost transcendent) plodding sappiness. But On Bended Knee, the follow-up? Feh!

I saw NRBQ close a show with this song back in 1982. Terry Adams was reading the lyrics from a piece of paper and kept pretending he was falling asleep as the band slogged through it. They left the stage to thunderous applause, came back for an encore and started right back up again with the same song. This time boos.
