also it's ridiculous that pitchfork gave this a 6.7 or some shit when they always give AMT albums like 9.0s and stuff.

tried to see these guys open for Oneida at South St Seaport and got pwned by the bizarre insertion of Raphael Saadiq into the middle of the bill .... EB played an hour early

dmr, Thursday, 4 December 2008 21:19 (fifteen years ago) link

anyway, it was cancelled - visa problems getting into the UK or something :-(

lynshroom, Friday, 5 December 2008 10:21 (fifteen years ago) link

Great! I was so paralysed with indecision between going that show, seeing Meat Puppets again or checking out a Jason Kahn sound thing that I ended up unable to do little more than eat pakoras and smoke weed. I did listen to the Black LP though. Still great. And a youtube search for live Endless Boogie clips quickly led from their Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs cover to an hour of vintage Aussie dunce rock action - Buffalo, Coloured Balls, Kahvas Jute, Rose Tattoo. So I had my fill of riffs anyway.
