Yeah man, there's no place for the black album even coming close to butting up against Master of Puppets.

If you don't like Manilla Road, there's something wrong with you.

I agree with Adrien on lot's of things, but please -- anyone -- explain Manilla Road's appeal versus hundreds of bands doing the same thing only better.

You could try reading the reviews on http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=379 but you cant always trust that site, some people deliberately go round giving well loved albums 5% ratings to bring them down, but it doesn't look like that's happened here (yet)

Slough Feg covered "Street Jammer" , so possibly that raised their profile (except hardly anyone knows Slough Feg either, but they are on the metal thread so possibly that's why MR done so well?)

I don't know the electorate very well, and I'm pretty ignorant of most metal after about 1992, but Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power would seem to me to be both a plausible and a deserving contender for a top 20 spot.

I would think Shout at the Devil would have an outside chance as well, but motley crue's peers have fared so poorly in this, it's hard to imagine they're in the top 30.

I love Shout at the Devil and think it might have even been on my ballot, but seeing it pop up this high would be weird.
