The problem with the kind of metal that I like, though, is that people are either too embarrassed to admit they used to like it or they're still LIVING IT EVERYDAY. I fall somewhere in between these extremes.

Canon, shmanon. I have a pet theory that the validity of a metal album poll is directly related to how high Vol. 4 places. The higher up the placing, the better the poll.
