I've never really got Peter Halley. granted I don't know anything about him, but aesthetically I find his works to be kind of off putting. I can't not think of the square tool in MSpaint when I see his works (although they probably look a lot better in person when they're more than a few inches in size).

i guess thats the point tho?

There's a fine line between stuff that looks like it belongs on the wall of an art gallery, and stuff that looks like it's in the reception area of a leisure centre.

2 summers ago, one of the best art exhibits I saw happened to be an airport terminal :X (Corporate patronization of art of not, finding a 30 foot long Richard Serra sculpture at the foot of an escalator is quite a pleasant surprise).
