Yeah...but...but...Superbowl Shuffle.

Also I just reread that article, that's fucked up.

Carson Palmer signed through 2014? What is this SCI FI? It still seems weird to me to plan anything for 2014, but body willing, Palmer will still be playing QB for the Bengals in that far off year.

It looks to me like Cincy wants to model themselves after their Marino/Dolphins, Favre/Packers, and Elway/Broncos predecessors. I can't blame them, as I suspect Palmer's that type of QB.

Cincy is due for some draft luck, as they had some terrible luck in the 90s with their first round draft picks, both with injuries and bad choices.

The thing that caught my eye in that article is that the Bengals have already got Chad Johnson, TJ Houshmanzada, and Rudi Johnson already signed up for a few years, so the core of that offense will be playing together for a few more years. I think you can look at the success the Colts have had with having a core of players that have been together for years and see what that kind of stability can do for an offense.

That really sucks. Palmer seems like a good dude.

Wow. Cincinatti has been brought to one knee by a Hawaiian German.

This is like Murphy's Law, isn't it? That'll teach 'em to sign guys til 2014.

in the nfl that doesn't matter though ally, since only signing bonuses are guaranteed. every nfl contract is theoretical, even peyton's.

I wonder what kind of therapy he'll have to go through? KIMO THERAPY PERHAPS?

No, Yancey, I know that, but I mean the theory of doing it. It seems to guarantee bad shit.
