c'mon, start a suntanama thread, I dare you...

No, really, I wasn't into it, but that Whip-or-wil (sp?) song is annoyingly catchy. I can't beleive I still remember it from hearing it just once. If you like NNCK...well, suntanama has nothing in common I think - different universe
correction from earlier: the 2 related eps/lps I referred to are actually both called A Tabo Two - just 2 totally different records, art and all..Why has the nnck abandoned the Drone?

I love Pelt ('empty bell ringing in the sky' is fantastic stuff) and 'yeti' as well (though I'm thinking that NNCK are quite diff to a lot of that, in fact i was convinced they have some incredible string band in them but that's prob bcz I've been hearing lots from them lately).

This algorithm was first proposed by the mathematician/physicist Gauss. Its complexity derives from the fact that the calculation is based on a combination of solar and lunar calendars.
function getOrthodoxEaster($date){ /* Takes any Gregorian date and returns the Gregorian date of Orthodox Easter for that year. */ $year = date("Y", $date); $r1 = $year % 19; $r2 = $year % 4; $r3 = $year % 7; $ra = 19 * $r1 + 16; $r4 = $ra % 30; $rb = 2 * $r2 + 4 * $r3 + 6 * $r4; $r5 = $rb % 7; $rc = $r4 + $r5; //Orthodox Easter for this year will fall $rc days after April 3 return strtotime("3 April $year + $rc days");}

sometimes think about the halcyon days of my NNCK worship.
do these guys still play out at all? Pat Murano puts out records on a pretty regular basis (and they're pretty fucking good), but i've been wondering about the band as a whole.
