both of them are! I mean, come on! it's an all indie-rock bill with a token rap artist and a token dance act. (unless you count the Postal Service, which I don't.)
anyway, the point is that this kind of bill--indie rock indie rock indie rock + one non-indie thing that indie rock kids like--is really commonplace. pointing that out /= complaining. for god's sake, the Dap-Kings are the only band on there I'd want to see!

I'm pretty psyched to see all of the bands on the bill, because hey I like a lot of different kinds of music.

Should I be pissed that only a couple of people danced when I spun funk records last Saturday? Should I call them tokenists? Or should I just be happy that some people danced?

y'know the funny thing was (although maybe not surprising) that the only time anybody of the indie persuasion danced last Saturday was when I was playing funk. Nobody danced to rock, or indie stuff, or the techno I played, except for said bald Polish dude in shorts, who high-fived me repeatedly.
