its not bad on purpose the way the books are but it still has it moments. i mean i want to punch the dad in the face most shows for some reason but i like most of the other characters and chuck bass and i wear the same cardigans apparently so w/e.

i hate just about all of the characters :( i think i might like mr. inconceivable, and hope he becomes a regular character but kind of doubt that happening.

he is in the books! in the ILS thread i expressed incredulity that someone so incapable of dressing herself is an OMGWTF fashion designer. i would like to once again state my disbelief and, furthermore, qn why jenny humphrey walks a stork all the time

i don't know how i feel about this Aaron character. i mean yes he's ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. but he seems kind of daft.

serena's thanksgiving outfit!!!!

serenas thanksgiving outfit was pretty great from what i remember which is mainly the color.

yeah, i'm with sunny. aaron might be my least favorite character, which is an achievement. the scenes with just him and serena are EXCRUCIATING.

omg i MELT at their scenes. if i've ever felt like a 12yrold girl (hold all jokes please), it's during those scenes. like the scene when he showed her the art installation? i wanted to be her. bad.

i'm trying to think of characters i like, or even don't mind so much, and i came up with... blair. i basically only watch this show to look at the clothes

well i think i'm the only one who like adores serena's clothes. i mean i get a little too excited, and we'll be like watching with other people and the girls are all "that is NOT good" and i'm drooling

i agree with basically everything lauren said. aaron: wtf boring and lame, blair: totally found a soft spot for her!

laurel, jenny walks like a stork because she is too frighteningly skinny to walk normally. you'd walk strange on toothpicks, too!

what do we think is in lily was institutionalized for? aborting rufus' baby?

i was gonna guess HAVING his baby and giving it up but that would be too similar to the 90210 stroyline. it IS the CW though...

i don't know but i hate bart.

i never had a problem with blair but i really feel serena's the golden child, as the show intended...

and don't you know you're supposed to hate the golden child?

i actually really like bart. its like hes playing the upper east side billionaire perfectly. its not his fault everyone around him has suddenly developed freakin conscience.

he looks more wtf? than pissed in most scenes

he's spying on his whole family while living with the fact that he once killed a man....

also he looks like he's had one too many chemical peels :/

bart cracks me up. when there's a reaction shot on him and he's just sort of standing there looking constipated, you know that something evil is afoot.

i like that the whole set up for the bart + lily marriage was that lily is really in love with rufus but marrying bart to make sure she and her kids are looked after well but she doesnt play it as being trapped in some horrible situation. lily really looks likes shes having fun most of the time.

i do like lily and eleanor a good deal. i like eleanor's sassiness and lily's humanness (she makes a lot of mistakes!)

yea she does look like she's having fun -- it's in her little smile. cute

oh yeah! she (EW) stutters a bit too - classic soap actor thing

i should just go back to daytime soaps, but the design isn't as good.

B+B is pretty great still. Most of the other look like theyre being shot of a handicam or something though.

when GG first started I was having so much trouble seperating kirsten cohen from lily vdw. i wasnt even sure if they were the same actor or not.
